Headlined by the infamous JustLarry, the show included Velvet Dan finding playing cards in his very special place, the return of Frankenstein's Bride, Bonnie and Clyde striptease, the very first Kung Fu movie, and a visit by Michale Moore. JustLarry - magician, comedian, and juggler extrodinaire -- jugled stacks of blocks, did amazing card tricks, and trimmed some douchebag's pubes with a handful of razor-sharp blades.

Over 400 people filled Wealthy Theater for the best Super Happy Funtime show yet! Great costumes, cool makeup, funny skits. The girls were beautiful and sexy as ever.

Highlights were Lala Vulvaria as Sarah Palin, shooting moose in a thong. Miss Pussykatt doing a suspension dance by swinging over the stage from a crimson banner. And the girl burying her head in Joe the Cabdriver's cleavage while putting pumpkins on his ass. This is the best show in town.

Christmas Crush Show on December 13

Super Happy Funtime brings its special brand of funny naughtiness to the Wealthy Theatre for an all-new Christmas-themed show on Saturday, December 13.

Grand Rapids is known for being a family friendly town with many cherished traditions celebrating Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Chanukah. That’s why Super Happy Funtime, in the tradition of vaudeville, will skewer the manufactured malarkey and family misery surrounding these once special days.

“Christmas Crush” will include Joe the Cabdriver as a misanthropic Santa Claus learning the meaning of Christmas by way of Madison Avenue. Velveetah the Cheetah exploring the cultural confusion of the Chanukah Bush. Philly Goodtimes as a John McCain Grinch. Lala Vulvaria doing a burlesque dance as the thankless brat who never gets what she wants for Christmas. And Mr. Happy Pants as an unemployed elf who was laid off by Santa who outsourced toy production to China.

The expanded End of Times Orchestra will keep the 2-hour show moving with a lively beat. And there will also be contortion, magic, hula hoping, stand up comedy, and audience participation games

Burlesque Bell's Brewery Kalamazoo 9-5-08

The Cinema Show kicked ass at Bell's Eccentric Cafe last night. Great crowd, beautiful weather. Audience members kept taking off their clothes. And Caitlin, everyone's favorite bartender did her first striptease. Then some dumbasses in a white Chevy Blazer set off fireworks in the parking lot. The Mommy Dearest striptease was insane. We got back to Grand Rapids at 2:30 am and the crazies were out on Division Street. See you for Halloween!

Kalamazoo Khaos

Bell's Eccentric Cafe hosted Super Happy Funtime's first Kalamazoo show on July 19, 2008. It was great! On a rainty day, nearly 200 people packed the bar to watch the actors and musicians perform their best piences. Highlights included Juliet's red outfit, the Sugar plum Fairies packed on the tiny stage, Doug's half-naked hairiness, and the over-eager audience memebr in the Banana Game. Such a softball player! We're already scheduling August and September shows. Stay Funtime!

Best Show Ever!

Wow wow wow, my pets! Almost 300 degenerates packed the Wealthy Theatre on June 28, 2008 to celebrate two years of naughtiness in Grand Rapids.

The cast brought out the best 30 skits and dances, almost 3 hours of nonstop entertainment. Highlights include Odball's Awkward Odyssee with his cardboard sail boat and Joe the Hairy Sugar Plum Fairy filling the stage with eight sexy dancers. The crowd loved the return of the Skin Flute Orchestra, the creepy Serial Killer Strip Tease on broken glass, and Just Josh's Todler Strip Tease.

We are nothing without our fans, and tequila!

Anniversdary Show Rehearsal

Super Happy Funtime had a great rehearsal on Hell Tuesday. The cast and band readied a special Anniversary party celebrating one year at the hallowed halls of the Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids, MI. The best skits from over the past two years will show up, from the Shady Sugar Plum Fairy to Rita the Spastic TV Host.

This will be the best party in town on Saturday.

The cast of Super Happy Funtime was invited to participate in Compass Film Academy's 24 Hour Film Project. They called Lala Vulvaria to see if she knew any narcissistic extroverts. Silly boy! She spent last night pulling all of the burlesque show props and costumes out of storage in her spacious studio mansion on Division Avenue. The production starts at 10 pm on Friday night. Just sitting here in Traverse City in my mink coat and wearing my alpaca lined UGGS, licking cherry preserves off of Lala Vulvaria's ass while she eats Mackinac Island fudge.

We're waiting to perform our first show in Traverse City at the charming Inside Out Gallery! It's sold out! So if you are planning to caravan up to Northwestern, MI, don't bother. Maybe you can catch the home schoolers doing a recital at the Elks Lodge in Gaylord.

Old-Time Radio Killed at the Wealthy Theater!

The Old-Time Radio Show was our most awesome Super Hapy Funtime performance yet. Everyone loved the skits: Silver Zoomer Baloon Car, 1930s Joe the Cabdriver, and Moonpie!

We had fun performing for about 100 seniors at 2 pm. They got most of the jokes but hated the Zombie Gerald Ford skit. Hee, hee! The 8 pm show had a good crowd, they had great energy, and laughed at the jokes. The cast looked great in tuxedos and evening gowns. Josh did a super jobs with all of the sound effects. Corey kept everything on track while leading the awesome End of Times Orchestra.

We heard that the show sounded great on WYCE. Thanks CMC and Erin.

Santa Crawl Grand Rapids

The first ever Santa Crawl in Grand Rapids was a fine, fun exercise in alcohol-fueled frenzy.

Over 60 degenerates dressed as sad-sack Santas and naughty elves packed two luxury busses as they traveled to and fro about town.

Six bars were on the route, including the Sazerac Lounge, Remedy Lounge, Meanwhile Bar, Margarita Grill, Diversions Night Club, McFaddens Lounge, and Sazerac Lounge

It was a blast watching the alcoholics in the bars realize that their favorite watering hole was overrun by 60 Santas. Everyone was cool except the doorman at McFaddens, but we put him in place and everything was cool.

Mark Hodges of Rivertown Entertainment submitted the following review of our sold-out Halloween Burlesque show at Wealth Theatre:

I have not attended any show of this kind in a long time. The group combines the classic vaudeville skits with some Suicide Girls-style burlesque dancing. The opening was a zombie dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller," which was completely entertaining. Another entertaining group was four guys who parodied the Ghostbusters, who hosed ghosts and witches with Silly String. The show was well organized, entertaining, and fairly well put together. The choice of performing at the Wealthy Theater--a former vaudeville theater --was perfect. I would recommend any open minded person over 18 to check out their shows in the future, as they are fun and a completely different evening out on the town.

Rehearsal went great! So excited to be back in the Wealthy Theater. The Halloween show will be the best one yet. The writers and the cast have come up with playful takes on scary movies and Halloween traditions. The Joe the Cabdriver skit is socially wrong. LaLa Vulvaria's burlesque dance is sexy and funny. The opening act will make you pee your pants.

Come dressed in costume. Tell your friends -- the show is better when you are part of a group!

Burlesque Dance Rehearsal

Super Happy Funtime began rehearsing the big opening act for the October "Halloween Horror Show" spectacular! They shaked their booties and drank lots of water in the new Grand Rapids Center for the Performing Arts on Division Street.

The cast and crew stumbled through the ultra complex choreography that La La Vulvaria designed while slurping waffle nachos at the Choo Choo Diner. She based her dance on 1/32 beats out of the Disco age. Master Manipulo threw out his hip and Mr. Happy Pants crushed a vertabrae. Watching Joe the Cabdriver and Oz and his Merry Band of Merry Men trying to move their feet and hands at the same time was "Thrilling!"

We kicked polyphonic ass at the Intersection Lounge! We packed over 300 people into the huge stage area at the Intersection Lounge. We went all rock-and-roll with our Classic TV! show.

The biggest laughs came Mr. happy Pants as Mr. Rogers, The Family Feud Game Show between the Munsters and the Addams Family, Lucy and Ethel when the are lonely and drunk, a soft Batman and Robin, the Blossom theme song dance, I Dream of Genie floating out of her bottle, and a Bewitched suspension act.

Super Happy Happenins and a show at the Wealthy Theatre!!!

Hi friends,

Just checking in to say hey and mention our burlesque show will be
doing a special edition Saturday June 16th at the Wealthy Theatre for
the cost of 9 dollars. The theme is "Fractured Fairy Tales," we've
got Aesop, Snow White, Little Boy Blue, Miss Muffett, Homer's
Oddessey, a lovely Sugar Plum Fairy dance, great games like climb the
beanstalk, and all the rest from the talented cast, crew, and band
behind the best Burlesque show in Grand Rapids!!

This show is going to be a one of a kind spectacular, folks! I can't
even hint at what's going to be pulled out of my happy pants for this
very special edition; guest performers, short films, full orchestra,
more more more better better better!!

And if mid June seems too far away for our particular brand of arts
and entertainment, just read on...

First up this Saturday night is the acting debut of our esteemed
producer, Rich Haralson, in our 21st production of 24hr theatre!! Just
imagine, writers getting together friday night and creating 5 plays in
the span of 12 hours, the directors and actors join in at 9am and
rehearse till 9pm and perform these works of stamina and genius for
all of you!! This is going to be a fun event that yours truly, Rita,

mold, but shatter it. This is the case with The End of Times
Orchestra. Their debut album, a two disc set, is a revelation of
vocals, masterful violin solos, and intricately molded percussions,
this well crafted conglomeration of colorful insanity and intrinsic
grooves is sure to capture the imagination like no other local band
can. A cross between drunken pirate serenades with the intense vibes
only a ringmaster on mescaline can deliver, this hybrid of
genre-bending circus-rock is a shoe in for those who appreciate music
outside the bun. If Tevye of Fiddler on the Roof had a favorite band,
this would be it; on the other hand... it would still be it.
