Papa Pete's Show Biggest Ever!

We went back to Kalamazoo on Saturday. Ah, yes, Papa Pete's, where the beer flows and there's an endless river of tasty gyros and spinach pies. We had our biggest crowd ever at papa Pete's, which included a bridal shower party. We got the bride on stage and Mr. Happy Pants serenaded her about his manhood and then the dancers gave her a gender-bending striptease.

The show included the return of Rotundo Profundo the poet wrestler battling Little the Kid. Nuts were bruised. Gigi Anamalicious performed her Naughty Perforation Striptease, which included the stage debut of Awesome Ashley. Sarah and Phil's geneder-bending Blues Brothers striptease was hilarious. And Lala's Mrs. Robinson forced striptease with Little the Kid (again) made everyone jealous. Stay funtime!

Lala's Report on the Chicago Burlesque Show

On Friday August 8, Super Happy Funtime rolled into Chicago to perform at the legendary Jackhammer Bar, a real rentboy firetrap in Chicago's Boys Town.

We did the shortest most high energy performance of our careers. A 45 minute set. Who da thought? The band was smokin and kept the audience screaming for more! Some highlights were Rosie the OBGYN, a gender bending Blues Brothers strip tease, Carmen and her boyz, Mommie Dearest, Silence of the Lambs, Pimp and Ho, and Joe the Cabdriver lap dancing, getting put into a sling and forced to run down the street yelling "Jason Jason wait!" We still haven't seen Joe since Friday.

Chicago....take heed. We are not done with you yet. We have changed the face of burlesque in the old windy city. It is our solemn promise to come back and kick your ass.

Review of the July 11 Show at the Wealthy Theatre

A FUN TIME ON THE SOCIAL SCENE OF GR:

My experience at the Super Happy Fun Time Burlesque 4th anniversary show performed at the Wealthy Theater on July 11, 2009 at 8pm. This would be my first time to a crazy event known as the super happy fun time burlesque show.

Myself and friends sat surrounded by a full house of 400 plus people packed together, ranging from all walks of life 20 to 80 years old. When the show began to my surprise it was filled with magical musicians, beautiful bodies, off the wall humor, super fun skits, and vibrant vaudeville burlesque performers from Grand Rapids and Chicago.

The personalities, the theatrics, the everything was an experience of absolute wow! My friends and I enjoyed every bit of being there! After the show it had a movie star appeal with meeting all the great performers, see the real people, congratulating everyone, and making new friends! It was so great to be apart of such a super happy fun time in Grand Rapids..

Traverse City Titillation

Hello my pets,

Just sitting here in Traverse City in my mink coat and wearing my alpaca lined UGGS, licking cherry preserves off of Lala Vulvaria's ass while she eats Mackinac Island fudge.

We're waiting to perform our first show in Traverse City at the charming Inside Out Gallery! It's sold out! So if you are planning to caravan up to Northwestern, MI, don't bother. Maybe you can catch the home schoolers doing a recital at the Elks Lodge in Gaylord.

I can hear the crowd chanting my name. So delicious.

Old-Time Radio Killed at the Wealthy Theatre

The Old-Time Radio Show was our most awesome Super Hapy Funtime performance yet. Everyone loved the skits: Silver Zoomer Baloon Car, 1930s Joe the Cabdriver, and Moonpie!

We had fun performing for about 100 seniors at 2 pm. They got most of the jokes but hated the Zombie Gerald Ford skit. Hee, hee! The 8 pm show had a good crowd, they had great energy, and laughed at the jokes. The cast looked great in tuxedos and evening gowns. Josh did a super jobs with all of the sound effects. Corey kept everything on track while leading the awesome End of Times Orchestra.

We heard that the show sounded great on WYCE. Thanks CMC and Erin.

Mark Hodges of Rivertown Entertainment submitted the following review of our sold-out Halloween Burlesque show at Wealth Theatre:

I have not attended any show of this kind in a long time. The group combines the classic vaudeville skits with some Suicide Girls-style burlesque dancing. The opening was a zombie dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller," which was completely entertaining. Another entertaining group was four guys who parodied the Ghostbusters, who hosed ghosts and witches with Silly String. The show was well organized, entertaining, and fairly well put together. The choice of performing at the Wealthy Theater--a former vaudeville theater --was perfect. I would recommend any open minded person over 18 to check out their shows in the future, as they are fun and a completely different evening out on the town.

Whilst searching the net one night in search of a russian mail order bride to complete my collection I wandered across the official hula hooping website to find none other than our own Vivacious Miss Audacious featured on their page!! Hello degenerates!

Just checking in to mention our burlesque show will be doing a special edition Saturday June 16th at the Wealthy Theatre for the cost of 9 dollars. The theme is "Fractured Fairy Tales," we've got Aesop, Snow White, Little Boy Blue, Miss Muffett, Homer's Oddessey, a lovely Sugar Plum Fairy dance, great games like climb the
beanstalk, and all the rest from the talented cast, crew, and band
behind the best Burlesque show in Grand Rapids!!

This show is going to be a one of a kind spectacular, folks! I can't
even hint at what's going to be pulled out of my happy pants for this
very special edition; guest performers, short films, full orchestra,
more more more better better better!!

Mardi Gras Madness!

Super Happy Funtime celebrated Carnivale on February 18, 2007! Another sold out show with 135 people keeping it funtime! Mr. Happy Pants was raised from the dead. The lovely two-headed zombie fought itself in a bikini. The Escapist tormented reality. Liquids were drunk. Miss Pussycat danced with her serpent and played with fire!

Mrs. Happypants twirled her tassles. Rita kvetched with her lezbo daughter. The audience did Can You Tell Your Partner game and the Kissing Game. We learned how Rotundo Profundo became famous in New Orlerans. And LaLa Vulvaria tugged on some throats.
